Nice announces former Chelsea midfielder Barkley joins on free

Ligue 1 Nice officially announced that it has signed with England midfielder Barkley, and the player has joined as a free agent.

Barkley, wearing a cheap shirt, spent four and a half years at Chelsea. He played for a number of clubs in the Premier League, making 232 appearances and scoring 29 goals. In addition, he played 33 times for England, scoring 6 goals.

Last season, Barkley only played 14 times for Chelsea, scoring 1 goal in 422 minutes. Barkley had previously terminated his contract with Chelsea and is now visa-free by Nice. Barkley will wear the No. 11 Nice jersey in the new season.
